Curve Earn Win, Yankees, Red Sox Fall; Spikes Solve Reds

The Spikes (9-2) were the first team to finally solve the Reds (11-1), handing them their first loss of the season. The Spikes used solid pitching and timely hitting in their 9-3 victory. Braxdyn Landrum legged out an inside-the-park homerun in the loss for the Reds. Izac Benson was the winning pitcher for the Spikes. Austin Miller suffered the loss for the Reds.

The Curve (7-1) earned full possession of first place in the Minor Division with an 11-9 victory over the Orioles (2-6) on Saturday. The win by the Curve, coupled with a loss by the Red Sox gave the Curve sole possession of first place. Cael Walter was the winning pitcher for the Curve. Calean Smith suffered the loss for the Orioles.

The Indians (4-2) topped the Yankees (3-5) 13-6 on Saturday. Kolton Gaff got the win for the Indians. Bryce Stinson suffered the loss for the Yankees.

The Dodgers (2-5) pounded out 16 hits in scoring a 17-10 win over the Red Sox (6-2) in the nightcap of the Saturday slate. The game ended after 5 innings due to the 10 PM curfew rule. Grayson McClain legged out a 3-run inside-the-park-homerun in the loss for the Red Sox. Kendrell Marino was the winning pitcher for the Dodgers. Grayson McClain suffered the loss for the Red Sox.
