Mets Keep Championship Hopes Alive, Yankees Work Extra to Best Nationals

The Mets (10-4) kept their slim championship hopes alive with an 8-1 victory over the Reds (12-2) on Memorial Day Night in Mount Union. Dylan Gearhart earned the win for the Mets. Mykell Smith suffered the defeat for the Reds.

The Yankees (4-5) needed 9 innings to top the Nationals (1-9) 8-5 in a makeup game from this past Tuesday evening. Ian Brodbeck had a homerun for the Yankees. More information on this game will be published when it is available.
